As the Communications Intern for the Governor’s Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, I got the opportunity to engage in public service, ensure that multicultural media received and understood all the information regarding state policy accurately, gather news clips, staff events that Governor Maura Healey attended, transcribed, edited and recorded videos as well as audio. Besides attending meetings and helping organize events in and outside the State House, I was able to assist the Multicultural Director, Valentina Amaro, in Hispanic Radio Tours to help amplify innitiatives carried out by Massachusetts’ Governor and the rest of her team.
